"Lunch box 211 Cafe" – Cafe design and
Construction drawings.
Lunch box 211 cafe at Monash is an exciting cafe design which reflects a sophisticated modern interior.
The cafe design includes an open kitchen working environment for interaction with the chef and customers as well as the ability for the chef to communicate with the kitchen hand via a pass thru window.
The design is modern using wood, matt black tiles, concrete with industrial style light fittings hanging from a custom made lighting rail.
The entire space planning makes the most of the long thin building design and opens up onto an outdoor dining area nestled on a grey wooden decking.
We have incorporated a lounge at the end of the cafe with a warm caramel colour providing a very comfy area for those who wish to stay a bit longer.
There is plenty of bar seating which takes in the best aspect of the glass fronted building and nestles in with the structural columns of the building.
This clean and simple interior design has a compact and very efficient food preparation layout which allows the chef to prepare and plate up with a constant rotation of wash up and food delivery at his fingertips.

Located in Natilla Road Mulgrave this new cafe is part of the Monash University campus extension and business park. Currently under construction.
