Street Kitchen Co. – Cafe design and construction drawings:

Street kitchen Co. has been created as a new store concept with a long term view to franchise and the design has been implemented through making changes to an existing cafe design which was tired and out of date.

The new cafe design removed sections of the back wall to expose the kitchen as a open working environment and revamped all of the finishes, lighting and counter displays as well as new name and graphics which were achieved in conjunction with the clients design team.

The cafe will offer an exciting new menu which embraces food from all around the world taking influence from cultures of street food kitchens and market based cafe's to bring a unique offering to the franchise food chain environment.

The design has a very interesting appeal by using a combination of clean tiles. lots of wood work and matt black ceilings with bright yellow light fitting hanging from a custom made lighting rail to bring a slightly industrial feel to street scene design.

The addition of a large sign post in the center of the counter creates a fun element which relates to the street kitchen brand and further enhances the cafe design as an indoor cafe with outdoor fittings.

We began with measuring up the existing cafe and working over some previous construction drawings we devised a way to create an open kitchen design which allowed the theatre which the customer was looking to achieve and we then made up some visual presentations for the client over some photos of the old cafe before we then moved to providing the final construction drawings for the shop fitting with all the new finishes in place.

Street Kitchen Co. is a fun and unique design which has transformed the existing cafe into a showcase design for the long term franchise model which will deliver fabulous food experiences from around the world.
